Ya, some of the things I've seen on YouTube are way over the top. I doubt you would ever see any thing like that on US TV from any of the network stations, at least during prime time.

Ya, I have a PK232 some where too, but I don't use it. I wonder if people around here are still using packet radio. With the internet as easy as it is to access now and transmission speeds much faster I don't know many people that would want to rely on the slow speeds of packet radio.

My HF rig still uses Vacuum Tubes in the final. I have several sets of spares too because I doubt I would be able to get replacements at this point. Ya, I knew they removed the requirements for code. I was referring to back when it was required and I was taking the tests. I seem to remember when I was in school, about my 8th year or so, that my teacher in science class had some teaching aid that was for putting together models of molecules like water. You put it together sort of like a tinker toy.

The address from Planet Descent is defiantly the wrong one but the address 192.168.x.x is a common address range used by home firewalls like Linksys or Netgear that do NAT.
