Aggreed, a $10 supply is just asking to get your PC fried. Get at least 350 watts and a reliable brand name.

If anything, D3's netcode is quite a bit over the bar compared to other games. Like Halo for instance, I've kept track of how much data is transfered in a Halo game vs a D3 game of roughly the same players and duration. Halo transfers almost twice as much data, the players are much slower and the ga...

A bad hard drive would probably give I/O and other errors MD, but still a good thing to check. However the first thing I would do is scan for viruses, if no viruses are found I'd check the drives, then I'd also give his connection and modems or network cards & routers a good check.

Actually, fixing the level 13 bug would only require a replacement dll for the windows version and the same files for the linux/macintosh.

15% boost in media encoding while still using a 32bit app to do it! Anywhere from -4% to -51% (quake3) drop [-20% average] in performance for games (bad drivers anyone?).

Ok, heres what you have to do, put the XP CD in, and boot from it, start up a normal install, then when it gives you the option run a repair install. It will replace the boot loader that 98 fried and then you will have to reinstall all the windows updates but the configuration will be preserved. -Krom

They are RAM chips, just like all the others, just happens that the Voodoo2 in question uses two different types of RAM chips instead of just one kind for them all like mine. The stepping on the actual chips differs on my Voodoo2 also.

Ace, your stupidity never ceases to amaze me. The Voodoo3 cards dont have SLI, they are single chip cards. We arent talking about Voodoo3s here, we are talking about Voodoo2s! Voodoo3 2000 != Voodoo2 8MB.
