So I downloaded this update. Copied the files to the D3 folder. Then ran the exe. Still shows as 1.4. Am I missing anything?

I believe there are instructions to build your own if you are so inclined to do so. Maybe also contact the intiiator of this post and see if someone would make one?

I believe you can also lower your window and let the car fill and then exit thru window if you are thin enough. But having that glass breaker is best once the car is full.

Sad about the bike. When I bought mine during COVID, I wanted a good bike and not a cheap Walmart type.

I have a Trek Domane AL3. 18 speed. Cost 2000$ plus an extra 1000 for the shoes, pedal, lights etc.
My blades were 90mm. The 100+ were to big.

Re: 🚗 The modern 🚙🚙 city is 🛻made for 🚙 cars 🚛 and not people 🛻🚙🚗
Our major cities are packed. But Ottawa (where I live) has lots of bike paths and they are making more to try and force people to use public transportation/bikes etc. I live 20KM from the downtown core which is pretty much where I work (federal gov't) and at my age I'm trying to keep active to stay ...

I just biked to work. Just over 1 hour. 23KM. Yes, it's crazy. In the morning I use the roads as it cuts 2KM off my trek. In the PM, I use the bike path next to the river. It adds an extra 2KM to my ride. On weekends, I tend to do about 60KM mostly on paths but some roads (with bike lane). I live li...

For setting up a new Windows 11 install, unplug the network cable. In Windows setup, before joining a WiFi network, press Shift + F10 (+ Fn if necessary) to open a Command Prompt. Type in: oobe\bypassnro then press Enter. The computer will reboot and restart Windows setup. When you get to the point...

When I bought a new custom PC in March, I bought a CD copy of Win 11. I put the CD in, booted and for whatever reason, it would not see my NIC was plugged in. Then I read that my system was too new for the version of Win 11 I had on CD. So I downloaded the file onto UDSB (From MS site) and started o...

So I finally got my new PC Wednesday night. I decided to but Win 11 CD from my local PC store. Tried to install this using the CD and I couldn't get past the "network" screen. Googled the issue, bypassed the issue. Finally got into Win 11 and tried installing the drivers from ASUS but they...

Ok, I swithced it to a 13900KF. It's 130$ more but oh well. You only live once.
EDIT: Krom, would you recommend just dropping to an I7 instead of an I9?
I7 is almost 300 cheaper

Krom, are you recomnmending the KF instead? I don't need a built in GPU and don't need to overclock. I simply use it at it's default speed.

Re: Looking at a new build.
So I was not able to find the first 2 coolers at my PC shop but the Noctua was there.
I prefer staying with 64 Gigs RAM and upping to a 4080 is to much more money.
I switched to the lower CPU though.
The current config comes to $2931 plus taxes.

Looking at a new build.
Hey, so as I'm waiting for my back pay after signing a new contract, I'm wanting to upgrade my current PC. Below is what I'm thinking. This ends up costing $3000+taxes but not sure if I should change anything. I've attached the specs. I want to stay with Intel and upping to I9 from my current I7. Th...

We have to keep this stuff. Since Overload didn't make much money, I highly doubt any other 6DOF games will ever be made. Sadly , I don't have much time to play anymore so I concentrate my time in 1-2 games and Descent/Overload isn't in it anymore. I spent 15 years playing this from 94-2010 ish and ...

The people believing the insane false stuff usually deflect any try on proving their theories. They deflect by saying you prove it etc. Same when you ask religious people to prove God exists. They can't and they wither say, it's in the Bible or you prove he doesn't exist.
