lol - all you techy nerds don't like apple because you can't hack it (I would classify myself in that category, minus the Apple hate). Clearly, however, they've done something right, judging by their success.

Quit being a hater :P

Re: Driver for mouse and keyboard combo

You'll know if it's a driver issue if windows recognizes it, but can't get it to work. Check your device manager for unrecognized devices, or for devices that are mis labeled. Zebra thermal printers are notorious for this.

Like fliptw said though, it's USB - all Plug n play.

se·mes·ter    [si- mes -ter] noun 1. (in many educational institutions) a division constituting half of the regular academic year, lasting typically from 15 to 18 weeks. I really wish we had quarters or trimesters sometimes - usually by the last bit of the class, I am pretty burned out of it.

Re: 3D Technology to eliminate Split-Screen ?

I while before 3D tv's came out (at least anywhere near mainstream), I remember reading about a layered tv. It basically had several "plains" of transparent tv's, to give the sense of depth (each plain projected it's own image). I wonder if you could have a TV within a TV. Probably not pra...

yeah, I never really used many FF extensions, so it didn't matter to me. I did a test booting up FF and Chrome, and they were nearly even. Last time I did that, FF lagged way behind. As for rendering speed, if you run some basic javascript benchmarks, you'll see FF lag behind. IE9 actually does the ...

GoGrid, VPS.net and Rackspace are all great servers. If you're cheap, I like Rackspace the most. They charge you hourly based on the speed of server you run - if you run it for less than an hour, it's free. What is nice is you can take a snapshot of the server, then shut it off.
