Well, the cogs are in motion now. Despite Rehnquist being very conservative, there was a certain balance in the supreme Court. Now Bush will have time to disrupt it and make the Court lean towards ultraconservatism. This is very bad because appointing someone in the supreme court is for a lifetime ...

Since when does ID equate to a god? God, the designer, yo mama; whatever you want to designate the entity responsible for our creation. Certainly doesn't have to be a god...correct? No but by accepting ID you do acknowledge the existance of a higher entity, and the whole descision/purpose/reason ...

You're mixing issues. Both Evolution and ID have both a philosophical side, and a scientific side. I understand that you disagree with the philosophical side of ID... that's fine. If we were created, that implies our existance relates to an initial descision which must have had either a reason or a purpose . Bettina, a law is something that is universally true. However, I hope to have convinced you that multiple contexts exist in which gravity can be considered. If, for each context, you want to state laws, that's fine by me. But there is no 'law' as such that will span all the contexts and still hold.

In that context, you might call ...

The nomenclature used to describe the theory has no bearing on the method or truth-vale of its content, except in the case of what is called a "law" (such as a gravity). It seems to me that you are confusing terms instead of us. Top Gun wrote a very accurate post. First of all, there is no such ...
