There was a really good article about 32 bit operating systems, how much of the 4 gigs it takes up, and then reallocating the other 2 gigs to apps. Maybe not exactly, but pretty much along those lines. Found it when doing some research for a solution to my supreme commander crashing once it hit 2 ...

Man, can't believe this has actually turned into a discussion. Not too much of a deep one, but a discussion nonetheless. Really, we all have our tastes. We like what we like and there are things that we don't like. There are things that inspire us, and there are things that don't. There are things ...

Re:
64-bit is really pointless on the desktop. that being said, vista isn't really there yet, 32 or 64-bit. Well, in a 32 bit environment, a program can only address two gigs of memory. Under a 64 bit environment, it can access much more. My reason for choosing 64 was primarily this reason. Photo ...

Flabby and Vessenjah, you both have missed my point. Whether it's \"good\" or \"bad\" depends entirely upon the listener. What I consider good may not exactly tickle your fancy. There are some of older artists like Dre that I tend to listen to, and there are current artists that can get me hyped ...

Really starting to regret going vista 64.
To be honest, really starting to regret going to vista regardless of whether it was 32 or 64 bit. Had to post a huge rant about it. http://www.korrupted.net/blog/?p=228 Sometimes I get caught up in the latest and greatest toys and the most capabilities when building a new pc that sometimes I can ...
Re:
The wide screen issue is a moot point and I'm amazed people are as "outraged" about it as they are. In this time of 4:3 and 16:9 televisions, many games have to do it to remain compatible. I don't understand what the problem is. People find a lot of things to whine about nowadays. Just finished the ...

Where is your PC God now? I actually have a pc that can run this game with no problem if it doesn't mind a quad core 6700 rather than a dual core 3 gig, but considering the fact that games break, have bugs, etc.. I would just rather deal with it on my 360 rather than risk running into any problems ...

A lot of my coworkers and friends actually use myspace to keep in touch. I mainly blog on my korrupted.net site, but I've been known from time to time to mirror my blog entry on myspace and yahoo 360 as well. I really don't think of it as a \"cesspool\" of the internet however. If that was the case ...

Lothar, your post actually made me think about a few things. I never knew there was a such thing as squalor. Considering how we feel about our Descent, it might be a good opportunity to get the word out in yet another place on how good this game is. Not to mention making sure that the history and knowledge of this game is further preserved.
