Just to add my two bits to the discussion of newer generation sticks, I've been flying with the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for over a year. And, yes, I've had to replace/rma a dozen of them. And it was always because the X axis went bad. Their pots are the pits. Recently the up hat went bad and it turn...

I started losing the up hat on one of mine and found a broken solder joint on the switch. A quick touch with an iron and solder and it's good as new. I'd suggest soldering them all as long as you're in there. Grendel had the same problems with the Freedom 2.4 sticks.

I have to agree with Genghis on this one. 40 years ago my father told me, in the hight of the cold war, he didn't fear the USSR militarily. He felt they were trying to beat us down economically what with their massive military budget. They tried and failed. I feel the same is true with China. "...

Yes, Fusion is correct. That is the Extreme 3D Pro stick with twist. I love it because it's very tight on the X,Y axes. Unfortunately, the analog pots in them are very weak. If you have the card for your premier account you can also use it at an atm and get cash.

Also, if you transfer money to your bank account, don't expect it right away. Their system takes 3 to 5 days to make the transfer.
