If God exists he exists whether we believe it or not, but our assumptions directly influence our conclusions, and if we're hell-bent to discover a world without a creator, without a higher authority, without moral consequences, then there is plenty of room for excuses. Re:

No, I'm not referring to "religion" per se, jake. I believe it boils down to God and authority. I can agree that it isn't exactly the same thing, religion and a belief in God. However, if you define religion as (1): the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2): commitment or dev...

Over-medication, complete lack of interest by parents, and over-oppressive government. That is the only reason the kids today are such problems. That's fine, but are those the causes? I would argue that those are the means, not the causes. The problem is so prevalent, that it is ridiculous to suppo...

Yes, in the DALLAS editor, make a new script, make the owner the level, set the trigger to Level Begin. Then down in the section of things that should be done when the conditional is met add \"Play sound for all players\". That should do it, it's been a while since I opened the DALLAS edit...

Although I'll admit that the visualarray.com link works, it dumps me to a web page alright, it has a link to an email address, and a picture, that's it, and the nherres.com doesn't work at all. I'd love to see them, but it seems that fate is conspiring against it.

Depending upon the HDD, you should be able to hook the drive up to your Linux box and have it read it since Linux can read a ton of different filesystems whereas out of the box Windohs can only read NTFS and FAT32.

I doubt that there's any way to point it to the dir, that is to say that I've never found such a feature. I know it'd be a pain, but for models that have more than one texture I've had to set up each one manually. Thankfully the models that I've had don't have too many textures.
