I recommend RealVNC . It may not be as featureful as remote desktop or LogMeIn but it's not dependent on a single account like LogMeIn is. You install the server on the machine you want to remote to, and you connect to it using a client on the machine you are mobile with. The login information for p...

I know that the MErc add on should have patched you but maybe something goofed up. *shrug*
Patching from 1.0 to Merc to 1.4 is touchy. I find that if I don't mess with ANYTHING in the process, it works fine.

So how long before a signal blocking piece of gear will be blackmarketed? You'd be stupid to buy one. It's not really that hard to create your own faraday box with something like a cookie tin. A GPS receiver used to track movement? NO WAY! I don't want Big Brother tracking every single place I go, how long I am where, and as Krom said, a vehicle's computer is certainly capable of recording mileage. The mention of GPS speaks socialism/fascism to me; it's another subtle way the government c...

The Win XP and Server 2003 discs are key and manufacturer specific. OEM is OEM, and even those are tied to the manufacturer: Dell to Dell, HP to HP, and so on. I hate it because I can't use any OEM CD on any OEM key. Retail is tied to retail obviously and there's no getting around that.

The GeForce GTS models are slower clocked versions of the GTX models. If you want to do leading edge on a budget, that is a good way to go. Don't get a card made by a cheap manufacturer, e.g. Zogis, Jaton, etc. Instead, get something quality but good like MSI, Biostar, Gigabyte, PNY, or go high qual...
