I thought that no shots from anything but the player could open doors. Like in D1 lvl21 the reactor is behind doors but it doesn't open them when shooting from behind them.

That depends on whether you get there. Level 23 has the most evil room I have ever seen out of the missions made by parallax. The small room directly after the blue door.

Hang on... I have descent maximum on PlayStation but in the video that you (Alter-fox) linked, the doors open and close with all their frames, but on mine they only have three, which was the fully open, fully closed and half open states.

Music from the playstation version

Are there any downloads for the PlayStation version of the music in a format that is playable ingame? I've looked around but can't find anything. Maybe someone has something lying around.
I have the D1 and D2 PS discs but I don't know how to extract the music from them. Are there any tools I can use?

So I've finally got around to finding a fix (not really a fix, but more of a workaround) for level 17, which was to swap out all vertigo bots and convert the level to descent 2 from vertigo.
Unfortunately that doesn't work for level 18 so that's still broken.

Forcefields now change colors based on the theme of the level that they are in.

I've just exported all D1 exclusive textures into a seperate folder ready to use at any time. Also, some signs and monitors are now in the mine ready to go. Vertigo Bots being replaced by D1 bots

To put it simply, I've converted the levels in The Countdown to vertigo and added the corresponding bots.
Unfortunately, when I go into the mines, the vertigo bots are replaced with D1 bots.
I've heard of this situation before but couldn't find any solution, hence this post.

After using this information I realised I haven't spent much on my steam account. I don't know how much this is in pounds but it is currently $95.73.
Pretty much all on buying games like factorio, junk jack, and terraria and of course d1/d2.

Pretty sure I won't get to 60k though. :lol:

I have found courage to mess with textures.

For level 13 and most likely onwards I've done something rather special. The D1 door lights are back with D2-like animations!
