Plebe, yes, I agree that he does imply (nitpick :P) a diety. But my point is that if the 500 or so people on that train can deal with "have a blessed day", then why is it such a big deal? Well I wonder the same thing. I just have to pick those nits. If those people can all stand som...

Goob, muslum warriors have used "Allah Akbar" as a war cry for a thousand years Though it's not the only way it's used, so you can't really just make the broad statement that the words automatically translate into a warcry. It's all about context. I'm sure that during the Crusades, the Ch...

Yeah, that "freedom of religion" guy is definitely one of the ones who thinks it's freedom from religion. All it means is the government isn't going to endorse a specific religion (which was to contrast the Anglican Church in England, which was Henry VIII's way of getting a divorce, becaus...

Diesel pricing here is just ridiculous. It's more expensive than regular petrol yet is less refined. WTF?!?! Heh, diesel here in Austin is now often more expensive than premium-grade petrol. If you're lucky, you'll only pay a few more cents per gallon more than mid-grade, but fairly-consistently, i...

I thought that all the Voodoos and such just got theirs from Clevo/Compal like Sager did (not all the same options are always available, though it could be because of some parts being replaced after final assembly). But it would make the price differences make more sense, if they had to buy from Sag...

Yeah, sorry, not even going to bother. Not that my wife and I really ever watch network TV anyway, but I don't think that American TV would be capable of even somewhat emulating shows like this. I mean, not only are the execs seeming like complete morons, trying to follow a "formula", but ...

I've heard a lot of good things about Sager. I also seem to remember hearing that they actually make the chassis for many of the high end custom laptop companies. Sager is actually just using the same chassis as most of the other vendors. Clevo and Compal I believe are the two companies that actual...

Yep, laptops are getting pretty rediculous these days. Gone are the days of only having portable, underpowered models. The portable models are pretty good, and the desktop-replacements are insane. More on-topic, I don't see much resemblence, other than the "old" factor. I certainly don't think that the Pope escapes the Vatican at night and runs around naked.
