I had my first experience with Everclear last night. OMG, what a mistake. At the party I went to, they made something called \"Hunch Punch\". Reall fruity, no alcohol taste at all. It had fruit in it. Okay I like fruit. I start eating said fruit and about 5 apple slices into it and about 3 cups I was falling-over drunk.
I asked the host wtf was in that and he told me everclear. And then he said, \"don't eat the fruit though. When you put them in with all the other stuff, they absorb a lot of the alcohol because (and I quote) Fruit doesn't need more fruit, it needs alcohol.
So, yeah. I didn't puke (thank god) but I've got a wicked hangover. Not a bad new year's though
