Hostage placement

Post by Xfing »

Any tips that could help me place hostages seamlessly on the surfaces they're supposed to be standing on?

Move them down 6 units, I believe (this would be in a cube with normal height). I can't remember if it's 6 or 7 units, but I'm more confident about 6, for whatever reason.

6 units down in relation to the surface, right? Might try that. Not particularly easy to pull off, though.

It's pretty easy. Just use your numpad in object mode.

I fail to see the humour in the situation...

I can't get my numpad to work with the editor toolbar. Another problem is that you need to highlight an appropriate vertex or cube wall in order to get a good point in relation to which the movement will be taking place. It's a huge, huge pain in the ass! >_<

Now you know why the hostages were all ugly in Descend Again.
