Hey all,

I'm thinking of replacing one of my trimpots on the sidewinder 3d pro VR2 to be precise. I look at the trimpot and it has a 102 on it or it could be a 201. Can anyone give me the value of this trimpot? Or better yet, a link to digikey for the specific critter. :)

Thanks in advance.

don't have time to look inside a joystick, so you'll have to search digikey yourself.

Thye value is really easy...

102 = 10 +2 more 0's so 102 = 1000ohm or 1k

I am pretty sure that is gonna be it.
I highly doubt it is a 201 (which would be 200 ohms)

I understand how to convert the number, I just can't tell which side is \"UP\". I guess I could just meter one and find out.

I would think it is pretty easy to tell what direction a '2' is printed

It is easy to tell what direction a 2 is printed, if it were a 2 that was printed.

Unfortunately, not everyone uses that font.
