I have a Parlour (however it’s spelled) account (before the whatever happened to it) I used out of curiosity. It was so weird because it was the same feel as zero down real estate/pyramid scheme/Scientology weird creepy tanning booth, bad graphic design with bright lighting spambots asking for likes or links. It didn’t really evoke an emotional response from me, I just thought it was stupid and unsubstantiated paranoia from people who need a fuckin hobby.

Well, the SEC had an ongoing probe into whether that company broke federal trade commission rules BEFORE their desired acquisition of Trump's little propaganda creation. Apparently there is a question about a meeting between Trump and the head of Digital World BEFORE the deal was announced. It's a violation of the SEC's rules for an SPAC to identify a targeted company, Trump's in this case, before they initially raise money. The question now is whether those early talks were sudstaniative between Orlando and Trump. By the way, Lucid Motors is also under investigation for an SPAC violation.
