Re: Earthquakes in America
HAARP was divided up into several private companies.. or rather sold off to. There is other things more sinister afoot than HAARP ever was.

The towns are 30ish miles apart. http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/earthquake.php?id=370372 What then of...

Ahh. I'll do that then. I was reading through the instructions last night and was wondering why all the connections. I'll just do the same thing Krom did and buy-pass it to the MB. Thanks Gren for the link. I'm wondering. There is factory paste on the Cooler pump. Should I scrape that off and apply ...

Re: Another new Rig
Well, half done. Got Late. Krom, you were right. The stand-off sockets for the cooler bracket were a bit too long. A set of nylon washers with adhesive were included, but still weren't quite enough. I had to get another set. Everything is fine now. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/Duper/th_Half...

No.. not like that. Just testing/playing with new materials. Putting them in a car like that isn't a bad way to get a feel for how it reacts to various stresses. The pads were just a way to provide some cushion and reduce weight.

I've driven a Lamborghini Diablo. And I can say that after this test drive, I concluded that I would never buy myself a sports car, even if there will be money. Creepy overload the body, nausea, very high probability of not cope with the management - that's all waiting for you. wait.. and you play ...

Re: Extreme entertainment
Alpine skiing and flossing my teeth (not at the same time) is about the most extreme. I did climb a cliff face with some friends once. LOL, and no, we weren't wearing climbing gear. We didn't want to walk the 3 miles to get to the hill top. We almost got stuck.

So there's a lot of clamor on the net about this show. All religious descussion aside (for no I hope) has anyone seen this movie? What did you think? How well or poorly was it written? How was the acting and directed? Is this a rental or go see it in the theater? ... those kinda things. I posted in ...

Re: Word 2010 Vulnerable to .rtf hack
07's ribbon is a bit of a beast. It was/is about as flexible at a leaf spring compared to 2010. :) 2010 gave you customization, some old 03 functionality that had been pitched out the window. (wow.. unintended pun there) and just seems to be a bit more forgiving. One of the neat things in 2010, you ...

ugh.. Keep your 2003. buggy. bleck. 2010 is much better and spidey you can still make your own shorts keys if you want, not that many changed. The ribbons are a different way of looking at things; it's just a tab function. Really no different than your browsers. They group functionality fairly well ...

Ok, everything on its way, except the case. It's on backorder. I'll be doing a step by step shoot on this. Should be interesting. ^_^ Got some of it already; formatting HD's and transferring files from back drive.

Ahhh Ok.. yeah.. I didn't do that kinda math.
And obviously a crossfire isn't going to happen in that case; not to mention the MB only has 1 SLI slot.
Krom, thanks for taking the time man. I appreciate it.

I watched a vid of the Corsair guys installing that cooler into the case along with a MB that's similar. And yeah, it's tight. I'm going to do a step by step picture build. Soo.. Katawa Revisited
Nearly a year ago I posted about the visual novel Katawa-Shoujo. After being completely weirded out by it and some of its content (which is mild by most accounts after doing some research) I found myself being drawn back to it another time. About half way through I realized that what I found remark...

No, actually, Slick, from all I've read, Russia owns the pipeline and pretty much a monopoly on natural gas on most of eastern Europe. The Ukrain has had an on-going history of having trouble or simply not paying (over the last decade or better) its "bill" for the gas it has been using. Th...
