yep, big drives are not the problem in win98, you can make serveral partions not breaking the fat32 limit.
but win98se had problems with physical memory more then 512mb ram, i think it was a problem with the harddrive cache smartdisk if i recall right.

okay since i am a big coop-fan, here are some tips about hosting one: -network-mode: i usually host coops in p2p-mode and play on the same maschine cause that reduces the crahs-happyness of d3. for some odd reason coops in cs, cs/d crash more often. (its probably my uploadspeed i have only like 256k...

hmm there is a easy burn in test for the cpu you could try. start your temp-monitor, then start the windows-build in calculator. switch the calculator to scientific-mode. now calculated a factorial of a high number, lets say 800000. (its the n!) button. this will keep you cpu busy at 100% for hours....

you are sure you picked up that data cartrigde? does the guidebot has an option to lead you to that cartridge? usually it works that way once you are in dr. sweitzers lab: -the regular (green) thiefbot has stolen the empty cartridge. -you kill the thief, pick up the cartridge. its in you inventory n...

thats not true. d3 has a portal system for a reason. in a multiplayergame you get only send from the server what happens in the room you are flying and the neighbour-rooms /portals you can see. thats the reason why a 16 player polaris plays good but a 16 player halcyon would lag like crazy. now if y...

the facechecker in d3edit is faulty if you set it below defaults, it reports bad faces but this faces are not bad. make very small faces with small distance between the vertices and it will allways report them as bad even if they are not. more likely a problem with the precision it calculates the fa...
