yep, big drives are not the problem in win98, you can make serveral partions not breaking the fat32 limit.

but win98se had problems with physical memory more then 512mb ram, i think it was a problem with the harddrive cache smartdisk if i recall right.

hmm, if the blue stars are in the foreground, as they look like, the nebula would have a diameter of serveral lightyears. now how could the material from a nova explosion expand over serveral lightyears within 7 month? according to einstein, that would be impossible.

hey xamidar, topgun guessed it right, the coop-server crashed yesterday, and since it was 2am here, i decided to take a nap ;)

hmm there is a easy burn in test for the cpu you could try. start your temp-monitor, then start the windows-build in calculator. switch the calculator to scientific-mode. now calculated a factorial of a high number, lets say 800000. (its the n!) button. this will keep you cpu busy at 100% for hours....

this errormessage appears if you run the 1.4 patch outside of the d3-folder. just copy the patch into the /descent3 folder and run it again.

duper, that happens if the port d3 wants to use is already used by another application. did you enable the d3 relay option for ingame serverlist without using -useport 2093 ? you have to add that to your commandline in d3 if you want the ingame serverlist.

mrp. send-port and receive port dont have to be the same. you can send on 7000 (client) to a irc-server on 6667 (wich is default for irc), but you need a irc-client that supports it.

looks excellent and it is very well made, but in my opinion to small for a ctf. and there is only 1 (short) way base to base, makes gameplay a lil bit boring after a while. add a second tunnel to the base from the ceiling and it would rock.
