Just had it happen to me. It blew my IP address out and disconnected me from my local LAN. Re-booting the PC did not help but resetting the router did the trick. Don't know if its related or just an old router (3 years on a linksys) that is going belly up shortly.

I am not sure any Linux D3 server tools where ever created. I have many CD backups though of Utils for D3 that I downloaded over the years. I will look through them today and see if I have any.

Sounds like the ribbon or feed wires came loose behind the LCD or the LCD is shot. See if moving the LCD around has any effect, if it does I would check the connections behind it.

You need to clone the MAC address from the PC you originally had set up to the router. Just write it down and go into the setp up of the router and type it in. They use the MAC address in place of a login to identify you.

If they upgraded the firmware they most likly, inadvertantly, reset the DHCP lease time to the default value of 4 hours. Ask them to check what your lease time is and if they come back with that answer or something close, ask them to kick it up to 3 to 5 days.

For polaris I would sub on either team. Since BOTs intoduced polaris to me when I was Von - and kicked are arse severly - I would really like to be on D3K's team for a final pay back :P
