Tried the Demo... Horrible if you need to configure to use the Joystick and Keyboard... not very intuitive.... AND the demo mode keeps on running while setting up for your configuration. OUCH! Sadly the Throttle is under my left leg when I place the joystick on my chair. That is very very annoying... I never use that for thrust... Always use keys on the keyboard for that sort of thing as well as for everything except steering which is done on the Joystick!

Someone has spent a lot of time in the Descent 2 code.

Visually and functionally better.

Loads of nice features like how many enemies and shields are left in the level.

Just have to get my banking set properly on the old Sidewinder Precision Pro 2.

h.264... I'll pass... currently working on a secret project that uses a much much better Codec for Video Compression that will soon be available as part of our software package.

AVI files can be HUGE in comparison to even somewhat recent compression methods for saving Video Files.

I missed the 3 Jeopardy shows with Watson on it. Did get to see a special where they overviewed what a LOT of people and trainees at IBM did getting Watson ready for the show. Over 4 years of taking a bank of computers and training them for ONLY doing Jeopardy... Just think what they could have done...

It doesn't take much to secretly pass the information from any device or PC back to say your private web site via FTP. If the internet connection is down, no worries... just send the data later. As for me, I'd choose a Tablet PC because everything that I work on is Windows Based and all my Computer Gaming is Windows Based.
