Good to see the responses you got from them readyman, it's always good to know more info about this. You will be trying SolC, rest assured of that! :D max and the rest of the SolC team are preparing the release of their Proving Grounds multiplayer demo, so keep an eye on it! ;) Even if SolC won't use assets nor names from the Descent franchise, it will be a true spiritual succesor so don't lose hope!

They won't get a C&D letter because they are working with Interplay: http://www.interplay.com/about/article.php?id=81 Maybe SolC got the letter precisely because Interplay had this project in mind? Anyway, Eric Peterson (lead of Descendent Studios) replied to max (leader of SolC team) here: http...

Re: Descent : Underground. Did anyone here knew about this?
Nah, I would wait for now. Give it a bit of time before investing your bucks on their KS campaign, I think there will be more stuff to see to make us judge better (be it either negatively or positively). There's still time left on their campaign (31 days to go), and a lot can happen during that time...

Re: Wikia
OK, I've just edited the Descent (series) page. Although it still needs more stuff, I think it describes our beloved videogame series pretty well.
Re: Wikia
For a start, would be right to copy the basic stuff (description of the game, resume) from the official Wikipedia articles and put it on the new wikia? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_%28video_game%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_II http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_3 Also adding inf...

It would be a good idea to post this at PlanetDescent, as there are some users there that may be willing to contribute some stuff to the wikia.

So, anybody here got a tumblr blog or something?
I've just made my tumblr account (where I will create a blog to post updates about Pumo Mines and other stuff) and I'm seeing if there's a tumblr account/blog from any fellow Descenter around here to start following it.

Yeah, no worries, no need to really apologize (and much less to me, I'm not precisely the upper authority on the forums :P). OK, here's my favorite tracklist in order, starting from the best.
From Rebribution: Evidence (level 10), Off Sides (level 11), Proving Grounds (level 12) and A New Strain (Level 7). Those are some great tracks!
From Mercenary: Solar Igni (level 4), Resignation (level 1) and Pink Slip (level 5).

Such a nice instrument is the Balalaika, I always liked it as well as other stringed instruments from the world! (like the Oud, the Kantele, etc.). Very similar to the Bouzouki from greece, but with a much richer sound, IMO. :D Here on Mexico we have these instruments: The Guitarrón (aka Mexican Bas...

Well, to avoid political discussion and to not send the topic to E&C I will talk about the worse of my state taking the political issues out of the table (even if they are a LOT and would definitely qualify for the worst of the worst!). Some of the worst things in Puebla is the salty nature of t...

Yeah, I can agree with that last post from Sigma, as I see the same applies with the government of my own country (Mexico) and in a very similar manner (it IS a menace to us the citizens). The problem doesn't lies in the citizens of the world, but on their governments, and I think Sigma made a stron...
