You don't have to let them 'flash' it. If you unlock it or get an unlocked blackberry made to work with their network (CDMA), then you can use all the features of the device on any network you want that the phone is compatible with.

I would suggest that if you go with a lower end cell company to get good flat rates, go with Cricket. I know people who use Cricket and they really like the service.

I've done secret level 1 as a cold start in coop multiplayer with close friends and HOLY CRAP! we'd play on Ace or Insane and it would be crazy fun. Single player it would be very difficult, too; I'm sure of it.

I installed the chipset INF update that ASRock provided. I am looking into a newer driver at Intel's website.

Update: I found a newer INF update (made in 2008 rather than ASRock's in 2005) and will be installing it to see if it helps.

ASRock provides a DOS flash utility that boots straight from the disk. Should I use it or should I get the files and make them work from a DOS 6.22 boot disk?
