I'm not super familiar with Linux, but I think you could probably create a live USB (or CD) version that you could boot up and test out on your PCs, to see how well it works before you install it.

I found the blower to be a bit awkward to use. There is a strap, but the way it connects doesn't really work for me, since I'm left-handed. Mower and trimmer worked great though.
