Kerry's conceded, but Bush hasn't claimed victory, so it's still temporarily up in the air, just in case Kerry changes his mind.
But hey, it's a step in the right direction.

how bout a caller ID and a answering machine. works everytime No it doesn't, they'll still be calling and leaving messages. We've had an insane number of messages left by one of the people running for the Texas House. All of them from the area code for Arlington, VA, when I live in Austin, TX. Then...

The official break-in note for my Passat: Don't go over 3/4 max indicated speed. Not sure if they mean vehicle speed or engine speed, but that means it's either stay up 120mph or 4875rpm, both reasonable to assume. ;) Take it easy, try to vary the revs, but there's not really much necessary, since e...

Definitely go by some stores and see what they have that you can look at, hold, take a couple pictures with, and hopefully even get a printout of a shot or two to be able to try to compare some of the brands and models. if you have a local camera store, they might be of more help to you than going t...

It's not that all hip-hop artists suck, it's just that almost all the popular ones do, in contrast to the 80s, which as was mentioned is pretty much the last solid decade of talented mainstream artists. We hit the early 90s, and everything started to go downhill. The talented artists became harder t...

Actually, there's no such things as OS 9 drivers specific to a controller, it all goes through InputSprockets (which you'll have already, and Mac-supporting controllers should install just in case). Unfortunately, this makes it hard to say whether a specific stick will work or not. I'm not too sure ...

I haven't been having any issues at all with the 1.0 RC, using it both at work and on two computers at home. Depending on the vintage of your Mac, you might be able to take one or two items out of it. Though even then, it's probably things that you wanted to upgrade anyway. ;) (Latest Macs you'd be able to cannibalize the RAM and HDD and optical drive, older Macs from the SCSI/ADB era wouldn't be much use....

Somewhere I picked up the idea that there won't be charges for WOW. You get online access with purchase of the game. Is that right? Nope, won't be free. Since it's centralized servers that Blizzard will have to pay to maintain, players will have to pay a monthly fee. According to the WoW FAQ, they ...

And, for those of you saying that people you play online games with aren't friends, I beg to differ; they're as much of a friend as your nextdoor neighbor. People have pen pals half a globe away, and I'll bet a lot of them consider each other friends. I, for one, enjoy socializing on the Internet m...

Wow that's dumb.... It's not like most patients like the music that's being played anyway, so it might actually be better if they didn't play those CDs. :P But really, what of those who do get the CD for use in the office, and wouldn't buy it otherwise? Might look some at the Shannara series, by Terry Brooks. Really good set of fantasy books. I think he's still writing some of the prequels, as well, but I haven't kept up, unfortunately.
