Those curious about Mammon:
http://www.bartleby.com/61/92/M0069200.html
I wonder if this was intended to represent Microsoft. Also, I wonder if the sky is blue.![Image](http://www.descentbb.net/ubb/tongue.gif)
BTW, Mammon appears in the New Testament.

1) All Linux distributions have more or less the same level of hardware support. Drivers from software are compiled as kernel modules. If you mean out-of-the-box precompiled drivers, then one of the super-bloated ditros like Mandrake or the less-bloated Redhat is probably your best bet. 2) All Linux...

It's definitely a Photochop, but the backwards American flag is real. In fact, in complete irony, a page describing why the American flag is backwards on the guy's arm uses the very picture above to demonstrate its point (minus the Photoshop additions, of course)! http://www.flagpride.com/news/soldi...

Only one side of the patch can be sewed to the fabric. On the other arm the flag is facing the right direction! This is the same reason that American flags on the sides of buses and trains are facing the right way on one side and the wrong on the other! Backwards is much better than upside-down, whi...

Unfortunately Solid State isn't quite at the capacity of platters yet. But it's much more reliable. That's why I have a 256 MB flash MP3 player instead of a 1+ GB iPod. It's simply not worth the risk. Besides, who the hell needs that much space on a single device?! When are you going to get the time...

Haha... wonder how it went. I know that I didn't go into Manhattan today because I was too busy shoveling my own sidewalk, and school was closed. http://www.descentbb.net/ubb/wink.gif Maybe this will actually help dispel the myth that is global warming. BTW, temps in New England have nothing to do w...

Ahh... the fundamentalist take on any death is that it was her time to go. By that reasoning it was time for 3000+ people to go on September 11, 2001 and there should have been no public outrage since Al-Qaeda was simply exercising the will of God. But where'd Free Will go? It's easy to cope with so...

Great idea HaAG!! Allow our country to fall behind in weapons development, therefore eliminating the threat of terrorists flying planes into buildings! All we'll have to worry about are enemy states with superior weapons technology blowing us up before our radar can let out its last pathetic bleep. ...

Your insomnia goes away with a cat?! That's when mine starts... the fricken thing always wants to go over to the other side of the bed. I'm a light sleeper usually, so this is very bothersome when you are woken up at regular intervals. The doors in this house suck so I've had to jam heavy boxes in f...

I'm pretty sure terrorists would be happy if someone dropped a Dirty Bomb here... Regardless of whether or not it killed X number of people instantly, the land would be uninhabitable, the water supply would be ruined, and mass quantities of people would be tainted. Don't pretend dirty bombs aren't s...
