Never mind fission or fusion. What you want is free power! This company has invented it, but isn't releasing any details or working prototypes:

Did the other guy truly have internal wireless or did he have a PC card adapter? I just bought a Netgear WG511T PC card and it seems fine. Things to consider: USB 1.1 can only give you 12 Mb/sec, but 802.11g is 54 Mb/sec. So you'd better be sure your laptop has USB 2.0 ports, otherwise you're hamstr...

While some people may be able to finagle a career out of web pages, at the end of the day it's a silly consumer technology that doesn't matter all that much. http://xkcd.com/c198.html (yes, I had this opinion before the comic!) Good point. Let me restate: In the worst case scenario, only about 85 people (out of 1700) are still virgins I think you're making an unwarranted statistical assumption. The study says 95% of Americans have had premarital sex, but high school students are a subset of Americans. Furthermore, the old...

It's not surprising for wireless speed to be less than wired. But it depends on the speed of the router and the wireless card. If they're both 108Mbps then you should be doing better than you are. But if either one is 54Mbps then your speed isn't surprising (although not as good as it could be). Hop...

Dear mac, My friend just bought an ipod and i've been spending about 4 hours a week making it work. To make life better for people who accidently didn't buy from creativelabs, think of the fallowing. the problem isn't that what he said is incorrect Kerry said* our soldiers didn't make the most of their education -- that they're dumb. That's not merely un-PC, it's flat-out wrong.
