DVD to DIVX conversion problem

Post by Unix »

Okay, I have one of the Sony DVD Cams and I recently recorded my buddy and I running through some new songs but when I went to convert the .vob file to something downloadable the audio gets out of sync pretty badly with the video.

I'm using the converter app that comes with the DIVX Create package and I've tried a number of different settings to get it convert correctly. I have the AC3 filter so that's not it.

Anyway, help is appreciated.

Vist my web site:

Read the README:

Courtesy of Testi. Thanks Dave.

If the version of VFAPIconverter tosses an error, let me know, and I'll get you the right version. Also, you may need the .NET version of CladDVD.

This is a very good system for converting DVDs to AVIs. It may seem complex, but you'll get the hang of it quickly.

Google for, and download the .NET version. If you don't have the .NET framework installed, you will need that too - and it's about 200MB from memory. :(

Last I checked, the .NET framework was 20 MB not 200.

...Or you could download Gordian Knot from sourceforge.net It's slow, but it has been reliable for me.
