Me. I take showers hot and I take two every day and my bar of dial soap gets really mushy.

I take hot showers also but I don't stay in long enough to melt a bar of soap.Cold water will melt soap if you let it run direct on the bar for a period of time.

hmmm
I imagine if my soap wasn't already a liquid it would indeed melt.
I turn up the hot water til I can barely stand it.

Winter, I turn it up, not that hot though. Summer, I don't use much warm water. I'd guess ~80 degrees worth?

I used to take really how showers- not so much anymore, though. When I was diving I was in and out of the water all the time, taking two showers a day, and my skin couldn't take it. I don't dive anymore, and don't take such hot showers and I don't have such dry skin anymore.
