Free Voice Manipulation software -- now ready!

Post by Birdseye »

I was touting this earlier, but now it's really ready for testing. Anyone thats tests for us gets a free copy of the software. Email me, brian@antarestech.com if you want to check it out.

Here is the product description

So What The Heck Is This Thing ?

Voice Thing! is an innovative bit of software designed to process and change your voice in an almost limitless variety of ways. It sits between your microphone and any PC application that accepts audio input. (Examples of such applications might include online role-playing games, instant messaging, VOIP, or a video editing program that allows you to add your own narration of other sound effects to your video.)

With Voice Thing!, you can subtly or radically change the character of your voice, turn your (audio) self into a monster or alien, and create the effect of being in a wide variety of sonic environments, from small rooms to huge halls.

Best of all, it’s both easy and seriously fun to use.

What's It Do?

With Voice Thing! you can:

• Change your voice with the same super high-quality voice processing used in Antares's professional audio tools
• Raise or lower your voice with high quality pitch-shifting
• Radically change the quality and/or gender of your voice with our unique vocal tract modeling technology
• Use the Mutation function for a huge variety of monstrous, demonic, or other alternate-species voices
• Instantly translate everything your say into Alien
• Simulate a variety of environments, from a huge hall to a small room
• Choose from an extensive collection of included human, creature, (and just plain weird) voices • Save a virtually unlimited number of your own creations
• Have some serious fun

Wow, that looks like something that would plug in to Pro Tools III. Love the visual style, man.

Cool. Thanks for the support guys! We need the testing. Feel free to comment on your experiences in this thread, what you thought of it, etc.

Send me the technical stuff directly.

We could really use some VISTA testers too.

Again, do we have to send an email to sign up? It seems really inefficient that way.

You wouldn't be saying that if you knew my email provider.

I'm having trouble with VoiceThing, i have to reinstall it everytime i want to run it. >:(
But otherwise while it's running, it's flawless.

TIGERassault if your email sucks then you should at least have a backup web based email account like Gmail no?

Hi guys

Thanks for all the response and support. Make sure to email me directly if you have any specific problems.

I don't want to post the link on the forum publically, so emailing is best.

Thanks,
Brian

This is a very nice application program.

You have been sent e-mail on my recommendations, system information, etc.

Overall: Very well done program!
