Awww man. Can you at least make a tombstone and let us know where it is so we can occasionally put flowers on it and have a LAN party? :P

Seriously though, I now wish I would have continued to play in clan matches over PXO rather than work on some of my current stuff being that PXO is now dead.

Anyone know of any games that handle like D3 did on a 56k connect that has fairly good sized community? I will miss jumping into my Pyro and fighting against old Nemesis clans and other players. It's been fun.

We should all get into getting Volition to release PXO to us so we can take it over.

If it requires signatures etc, lets start doing it.

WildWolf... now there's a name I haven't seen since... VolitionWatch actually, a few years back.

Anyway, is there any other system that is currently being used for D3 multiplayer, or is it pretty much up the creek without a paddle?

How could Interplay sell a game wich, on his box, says you can play over internet and fight in squadwar, and simply close pxo ?
I wonder how customers reacted when they saw pxo was just offline....

I saw that, too. :?:

Florian, remember that D3 is 5 years old. There was no obligation to keep PXO up and running for that long. As for most D3 players, they just used the many ways of getting into the TCP/IP servers. Those who weren't willing to go through the effort stopped playing.

I'm noticing that pxo.net now seems to have support for games lists. Is this the new PXO that's supposed to be released with 1.5? Or... was that there before and I never noticed it?

It was always there, but, as at present, it never worked.

www.pxo.net and chat.pxo.net computers are online again but the chat service isn't running. Game and user tracker servers are still offline.
FYI, (DE)Hunter

PS: I hope this hasn't been posted b4!
