Re: Other games you play
I don't have a lot of time for playing games lately it seems, but I still have a lot of fun when I do get around to it.
Currently, very slowly working through Star Wars Outlaws.
Planning on playing Doom Dark Ages after I wrap up Outlaws.
Did a replay of Doom Eternal, and did all the Ancient Gods DLC for the first time.
Doom 2016 is one of my favorites, just all around good, I like it more than I do Eternal.
Also fly around aimlessly in Just Cause 2/3/4, rarely entering combat, using 100% save games I made when I used to have more time for gaming.
I dabble in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor, both of which I have completed multiple times.
Batman Arkham Asylum/City/Knight are always highly worthwhile replays every few years.
Tomb Raider 2013/Rise/Shadow.
Mad Max is a really solid game, great atmosphere, weighty vehicle combat, and equally weighty Arkham style melee combat (now with infinity percent more murder).
Control also has a great atmosphere and looks amazing in RTX + HDR, but is a lot more punchy if you hack your save game to give yourself overpowered weapon mods because the combat can be a bit of a slog until you reach the point where you can spam throwing forklifts at your enemies.
Have yet to finish Cyberpunk 2077, ran out of attention after grinding out 99% of the map icons.
Dying Light / Dying Light 2 are good, if different, but I have never finished much more than half the story in 2 because I tend to run out of motivation at some point when game stories do the "both sides are assholes" thing (see also Cyberpunk 2077).
Rage 2, I've actually ground out all of the map icons in this game a couple times, and even done NG+ more than once (IIRC it loops infinitely, raising the difficulty each time), combat takes a lot of cues from Doom 2016/Eternal.
Command & Conquer Remastered. Yeah, that ancient RTS game, also fun to mod. Bonus points it'll run on a potato chip so I can take it with me on vacation (but I usually end up reading books instead.)
Kinda burned out of Far Cry games after 5/New Dawn.

All the Sniper Elite games. You gotta love murdering as many Nazis as possible in as many ways as possible as violently as possible.
Now I'm playing No Man's Sky on and off as they add more stuff, Prey and I really loved Metro Exodus. I also just bought Derail Valley, but has a learning curve. I really wish Archane would put out another Dishonored game. Teleport hopping to sneak around is so much fun.

Re: Other games you play
Just finished up Horizon: Forbidden West. Staggeringly beautiful game that improved on almost every mechanical aspect of Zero Dawn. I do think the former still wins out in the story department though, because you can't really get all of those insane revelations a second time. I strongly encourage anyone even remotely interested in open-world games to give these a try.
Beyond that, I've pretty much never stopped playing Terraria, because Terraria. Still popping into Forza Horizon 5 every week, though there's no real reason to do so since it's just repeating seasonal content at this point. (Not sure I'll bother with the next one if it follows the same terrible live-service model.) I'm getting my monthly TF2 fix in with an old group of friends. Way too many other games on the backlog that I need to start in on.
