Of all the time I spent looking up, I have only seen a satellite go by once. It was a big wtf moment, because I didn't know they flew low enough, or were bright enough, to be seen. I just saw what looked about the size and brightness of Mars cross the whole sky FOV in under a minute.

I didn't see anything that would show the projected path, only the current position, and if you sat there long enough, the trail...
