Joystick dead zone

Post by Private_Joker »

Just bought a new Saitek ST90 stick (cause my Sidewinder wore out :-( RIP) and there's a big annoying dead zone around the center of the stick's field. I checked the stick in Windows XP's calibratior and it's getting signal and movement there just fine, but D3 just isn't using it--how do I tell D3 not to ignore that area?

Help!

Try putting \"-deadzone 0.0\" in the D3 command-line options. [If you have multiple sticks, it would be \"-deadzone0 0.0 -deadzone1 0.0\"]

if that doesn't work how you want it... tell me \"EXACTLY\" how your device shows up in your joy.cpl what axis you use and I'll make a d3 controller tweek just for you

I seem to have a better workout dodging your stupidity than attempting to grasp the weight of your intelligence.
