whoa. that's quite impressive. The player area needs to be a bit bigger though. I love the message delivery. \"Critical hit, head pulped, instant and irrevocable death\" \"go get some skittles and a coke and wait for a cleric.\"

There are actually quite a few groups that build custom gaming tables. I'm not real interested in this one; there's way too much clutter and not enough gaming surface.

needs to be at least 4x6\"

but it'd be good for combat patrol.

*bonus points if you get the reference.

The gaming surface IS small, and 6 player stations seems like too few, BUT, I can live with the clutter when its COOL clutter. :)

My wife and I were drooling over the Microsoft Surface vid a few weeks ago. I've got to admit, that would be one really incredible gaming platform. BUT, I also lean in the direction of, if you are going to computerize the display, why not just link up everyones laptops? That way you can have more people playing with less clutter, and folks can even play remotely. Still, the MS surface is VERY nice.

The remote tabletop thing is going to happen, IMHO; it's just a question of who gets there first, or who does it properly first.
