Epic ant battle: RAID and electrical outlets.

After turning off the outlet at the circuit breaker box, I pulled off the front panel of an electrical outlet where ants have been coming out. I attached a tube to the front of the can of Raid and unleashed death.

Now I just noticed some of the poison got on those copper ground wires. I'm letting everything dry before I reset the breaker, or should I dismantle everything and polish off the poison? I really don't want to, since I have tons of homework due. My teachers this semester are just piling on the work, like wood into a steam engine.

Well if you had a meter, you could check and see if the dry poison was conductive.

I'm reading that it is, when wet. When dry, it is not.

(are those commas correct?)

Never had problems with ants and my adaptec raid controllers.

To my understanding, those commas are, in fact, correct. More or less depends on where you want breaks in the voice, although there are specific rules regarding proper comma usage.

AAAH! I do not condone comma pausing!!

edit:

I mixed Clorox with bleach and Raid. That's ok, right? I guess it's too late for advice on this...
I'm going to flip the breaker now; wish me luck.

I'd recommend getting a glass of water just in case anything shorts and sets anything on fire.

Now, that'd be a problem if RAID has grease in it, in which case the water will simply make it explode and you'll need some heavy artillery (like a helicopter dropping water on your house, or even a fire extinguisher.

you don't toss a constant stream of water out of a glass at a class B electrical fire. Use a spray to avoid electric shock.

I decided it still looks wet, with poison, and also let it stay underpowered for 24 hours, while I go to school and stuff.

...I chickened!
