Cops run over Bumblebee

Post by Heretic »

During the filming of Transformers 3 a DC Metro police officer runs down Bumblebee in a cordon off area for the filming. If the set hadn't been cordon off Bumblebee would had been at fault.

Dang that must of been quite a bang!

But it seems that no one was hurt including the dog, pretty safe vehicles then, at what speed were they having the collusion at about 20 mph?, impact would then be like 40mph, I dunno how impact speeds are really calculated, but yeah it would of shaken you quite a bit I guess.

saw this one before on TFW2005.com
It was rather sad, yet amusing.

BTW, has anyone notice that Optimus Prime got a trailer now? I kinda miss him having a trailer.

(Even though I pefer good ol Gen' 1, Beast Wars, and the G1 tie-in War For Cybertron, but I still need to check out Animated, it sounds like a pretty good series)

It wasn't head on, and it was a clip, so it's definitely not 40MPH.

My bro and I almost did the same thing to a Tahoe on our way to the gym yesterday.

Source?

I think it would be more likely that the police and/or movie producers have insurance policies which will kick in (depending on who is found to be liable for the accident).

So who pays for the insurance on the police car? Why was the police car in a cordon off area during the shoot? Was it being reported as a filming accident where the police were part of the shoot? So who's fault would you think it would be?

From the video, the police car had very little damage.

Look at it again and look closely at the cops car front right wheel, it looks to have been damaged badly.

I'm assuming the cop let himself past the roadblock thinking it did not apply to him.
Why doesn't it work?

While the officers getting paid to maintain the block were off getting donuts during a live shoot...... hard to believe

Ouch... probably true!

How in the heck didn't the officer KNOW about the movie shoot? Was he / she just back from vacation?

Surely the dates of the Movie Shoot were known many many months in advance and many many memos should have been read in the police departments before the time of this incident.

I just don't get it... and they say the Crooks are the stupid ones!

Guess again eh?
