I love the ignorant writer who thinks there's no gravity on Mars in Descent, as opposed to there being a ship being levitated against gravity. Is this guy on heavy drugs?

Well to be fair, in Descent 1 and 2 there really is no gravity, at all.

That's an effect thrown in for ambiance.
But to be fair, I do think if you are running the original dos descent games at an astronomical framerate, your ship bob can potentially kill you.
