Biden has dropped out of the presidential race. It looks like Harris so far, but not set in stone yet. And guess what? Trump is now the old man in the race.

Honestly this gives the dems a better chance than they did before. Confidence in Biden is low. Kamala, while unlikable, would at least be able to mention names and numbers without switching them up.

I seriously doubt you'll complain about Trump doing his share of pardoning if he gets back in office. All those poor "patriots", people who smashed up the Capital and beat up police officers, will be pardoned. And all his old felon friends who used to be in his cabinet, they'll be pardoned and released, and probably rehired. I still don't see any charges forthcoming concerning "the laptop" because the clown show Republican circus can't find anything to charge Hunter with any further. It's a nothing burger.

No, the administrative branch of the federal government cannot make law, but they can set policy.

Nope. In woody's mind, their side good, the other side bad. Never mind the fact that all those convicted went through our judicial system like most people do accused of breaking the law. A jury of their peers convicted most of them. Woody likes law and order, except when his stooges get in trouble, then they're patriots. All I can say is I'm actually seeing a lot of excitement for Kamala from my social media feed, which includes over 6,000 people I followed randomly. These people used to only hate on Trump. Now, they're actually making pro-Kamala art, pro-Kamala memes, and or just seem excited about her. I've never seen them this excited for Biden. I honestly have never seen anything like this for Biden. So if Kamala has anything going for her, it's the spark of excitement people have for her. I'm noticing it's mostly women, but there are also a lot of men making pro-Kamala posts.

Probably most of the excitement is coming from her not being Biden or Trump.

I probably would've voted for Harris over Biden in 2020. But Biden was like the comfort choice for everyone, the guy everyone already knew and who could get us back to some semblance of normal after Trump. I think it's mostly worked out OK. Biden has exceeded my expectations in most areas, and I'm not sure Harris would've done as well. It's really just his policy towards Israel that I really don't like, which is no small thing. We'll see where Harris stands there.

I don't think I would've voted FOR her either. But since Trump stacked SCOTUS with unethical right wing judges before he left office, and those same picks lied under oath during their conformations, claiming they thought Wade was settled law that didn't need revisiting, then promptly overturned it to suit their religious views, a Democratic woman running for president now has a far better chance of winning. I've also seen a shift from gloom and doom with Biden to elation that there's now a good younger choice on the Dem side. It would also put the death knell on Trump's ambitions forever, a womanizer rapo felon who was beat at his own game by a woman prosecutor.
