Pretty sure everywhere knows about the age verification taking place in California starting January 1, 2027. There is no doubt Google, Apple, Canonical , and Microslop will comply with this law.
The new buzzword, "protect the kids," bull ★■◆●ing ★■◆●. No one in their right mind wants billionaires and the government to have this much control over us. If this continues, we’ll all be figuring out how to use the three seashells.

This came as a surprise. MidnightBSD just became the first OS to add age verification by default.
Damn, people are sheep. Most of these laws are being driven by conservatives. Keep government out of our lives conservatives. Pedo conservatives. The liberals are cowtowing to the pressure under the guise of protect the children because they're fearful. Our freedoms are vanishing into thin air with just a whimper and for the most evil of intentions.
