Sure. Forums like this are for old people so the number of visitors will only decline. Young people use Discord, there are people chatting in it every day. Also, this game is super old. The fact that anyone still talks about it is amazing

This place is so dead it is starting to fossilize.

It might be more artificial lively with annoying spambots if our particular spam registration countermeasure wasn't nearly impossible to decipher. I suspect it trips up actual humans fairly reliably too.

Descent will never die

Come next year, this forum will be 30 years old. The DescentBB, Warpcore, and PooterMan are the last of the old Descent websites that come to mind.

I noticed that Koolbears site is gone too.

Sad but without people playing Descent or 3DoF games, this site will stay simply for us old timers to reminiscent on the good ole days.

Someone should sticky that old thread about the Fusion Cannon. There were so many good threads back then that I didn't have time to read most of them.

I got here late so I missed out on a lot of great gaming discussion, but I will note that having a community run wiki would have been a nice touch for this game. My guess is that it was never needed since there were so many great fan sites, but now a lot of that knowledge has been lost, probably.

I check in here every few years. Glad it's still around.

It would be sad if this site disappeared. I can appreciate how unsocial it is in a time when social media seems to be consuming my time.
