I found a bug in subway dancer

Hi everyone I was playing a quick round of SD when i found a bug in the weapons mod:

If you hit someone directly with a cyclone missile it does 0 damage. For a missile that does 100+ damage when the pellets explode you would think the missile itself does 100+ damage before explosion. I found that if you hit someone directly with a cyclone the pellets are asorbed by the other ship and no damage is taken by opponent.

Now this makes no sense to me... because if you hit someone with a smart missile directly it does a good amount of damage, even a concussion does like 25 damage and like 1-20 damage to the radius(depending on how close you are to missile). I demand this bug gets fixed or i will quit playing subway dancer.

Thanks,
Twolvesfan

Heh, a new way to dodge cyclones! Sweet :P Makes sense to me, the missile probably doesnt have any impact damage. And when it hits a ship it does not spawn the acid.

Yay! go play some other levels for a change. wat a dumb threat... anyways why is that a bad thing? o_0... lol! I know a ton of bugs in SD... like HOLEs for that matter, and if i posted them i could destroy SD... but its a level... if ppl wanna leave on their own im happy with that, but... yeah.

Someone isnt gonna completely release an entire new version of a level for one tiny complaint. It's idiocy to think that would happen.
Posting a "threat" that ur gonna leave.. given ingus's posts have shown the spirits of SD to everyone here... everyone here is gonna practically shove you out the SD door. lol.

Post them! Not telling anyone only leaves the holes open for someone with malicious intent to use them.

first - its a bad thing because if i hit someone with a one hit kill weapon i expect them to die.

second - its not a 'dumb threat' because its not even a threat.... i am already done with sd. heh

third- i already play other levels so you dont have to tell me too.

besides subway dancer barely is a level... its more like a mod

SD is a different game altogether. It is played by people with no hands or arms. Or skill. Or brain. :)

Try this: If you know the smart plasma homers from a smart missle will hit you have any of you tried getting in the way of the main missle? The smart missle itself only does around 60 damage, vs 100 from the plasma homers.

Try this: Dodging the blobs is easier. If you can see it coming early enough to make sure the missile hits you, then there's no reason why you can't dodge the blobs.

Except in very weird situations.

But in all seriousness, a re-release of Subway Dancer to fix the bugs is not going to happen. Why would Atan work on a level he knows everyone hates anyway?

Everyone hates? So, why is SD allways full of peeps? To me, it looks like SD is the most loved level :P

Well, you know what I mean - I'd guess he doesn't want the myriad flames to start anew by a re-release.

The hole bugs should be posted. Then either the level gets fixed or the regulars get frustrated and try a new level! yeah

Hm, okay. So I should make a tutorial on How to Leave Subway Dancer's Level Shell?

Here's one!: Look for the vampire poster on the cylinder thing. From the tracks, (in the groove in the floor) facing the vampire poster, look for the hole at the intersection of 2 faces.

I found this a few weeks after this horrible level was released.
