Why me Bill?

I can't for the life of me think of anything I might have done to piss off His Holiness, but it must have been real bad.

For reasons I won't go into, I was reformatting my main rig. Shortly after getting Windows installed I heard a very loud SNAP! One of the Christmas lights around my window? NOPE. Popped a capacitor on the mobo? NOPE. Maybe just something in my sound system. I was playing radio on my other comp.

A little while later I went to open the CD tray. Wouldn't open. Hit the manual release and pried it open. THIS is what's left of my WinXP disc.

And let the wrath of Mr. Gates fall upon you for your transgressions. :D

Just hope nothing more happens before I can afford another copy of WinXP. I'll have to go back to 98SE. :(

You know, I don't think I've ever seen a legit XP cd before. That's pretty neat.

Want to make a pretty Christmas ornament? Try putting an old CD into the microwave (it only takes about three seconds), and keep your hand over the "cancel" button.

Don't count on it, better then 99% of the data on the shards of that disk would be recoverable if the commies wanted it. :P

Wanna dispose of a CD? Incinerate it.

That is fun to do =D

One time at work I whipped a dead laptop HDD at the concrete floor, let off a real nice spark and the drive was bent to a pretty wicked curve :P

yeah... the nsa can even read cds from space even if they have been microwaved using their sophisticated sattelite network. :P

lol ... the point is he probably wants to consider replacing the do-er of the damage.
